ANNOUNCEMENTS

* Tomorrow Paul Doupont will do HUB changes for CDS and SUMER from 12-13 UT.
* Science Seminar by Judit Pap (GESTC/UMBC) on Comparison of the
VIRGO/CELIAS/SEM, and UARS/SUSIM UV irradiance time series with magnetic
features derived from the SOHO/MDI images. The seminar will be in the EAF
at 3:30 pm on Wednesday 5 December.
* We will have visitors on Thursday and Friday in the EOF.
* 26 meter automation testing scheduled for next Monday from 18-20 UT.

INSTRUMENT STATUS

CDS: Nominal. Map of active regions on central meridian. Wednesday
CDS plans sunspot studies on AR 9721 and a particle beam study
on AR 9718.
UVCS: Nominal. Coronal hole observations and synoptic today and
tomorrow on the coronal hole coming around in the south east.
LASCO: Nominal. C2/C3 synoptics.
EIT: Nominal. 195 Angstrom CME watch and synoptics.
MDI: Nominal. Switched to high res field of view to observe
AR 9718. Tomorrow switching back to full disk magnetograms
and dopplergrams mode.
TRACE: Nominal. Observing AR9715.
