ANNOUNCEMENTS

*** For all visitors to the EOF, if you are planning to bring a
laptop that you want hooked up to the network, please let
the SOC know ahead of time when you will be arriving at GSFC.
In order to get you connected as soon as possible we will schedule
a security soon after your arrival. Because of IOnet requirements,
you will not be able to hook up to the network until your laptop
has been scanned and approved (normally takes 1 to 2 days).
* Current RHESSI default target is AR10349. When selecting this target
to maximize coordination w/others, use campaign number 6850.
* Solar Science Seminar: Bernard Kliem (Potsdam) will speak on
"Imaging and Spectral Observations of Erupting Core Flux in
the 2002 April 21 X Flare", Thursday, May 8 at 11:00 AM in
SOHO EAF (Bldg. 26, room G-10)
* Monday Education Office Rep. and 2-3 students might visit EOF during
daily planning meeting.

CDS: Nominal. Mercury transit observations and quiet sun study.
Tomorrow: Quiet sun study and default RHESSI Target.
SUMER: Nominal. Not observing.
UVCS: Nominal. Streamer study and synoptics today and tomorrow.
LASCO: Nominal. C2/C3 synoptics and JOP159.
EIT: Nominal. Mercury transit observations until 16 UT, then
EIT returns to full resolution 195 CME watch and synoptics.
Tomorrow: 195 CME watch in full res, synoptics, and
JOP159.
MDI: Nominal. Mercury transit observations. Tomorrow: MDI will
be in full disk mode and will support La Palma observations.
TRACE: Nominal. Mercury transit observations and La Palma support.
Tomorrow: La Palma support.
