SOHO Daily Meeting Minutes for Thursday 18 December 2003 ANNOUNCEMENTS ------------- * KEYHOLE CONTACT SHORTLIST: If you are planning on doing remote health checks of your instrument during the keyhole, please inform the SOCs. We'd like to give the FOT a shortlist of people who may be calling in to have e.g. contingency scripts executed in case of problems. This will speed up the process of verifying that the caller is authorized to ask for such actions. Also, verify that your emergency contact list is up-to-date and is taking vacation plans into account. * Today, a test of going from the Tape Recorder to the SSR with minimal interruption is being performed in preparation for the winter keyhole. The test is expected to end by 19:00 UT. Impacts to NRT and no MDI high rate while the spacecraft is in record. * The current RHESSI default target is AR10525. When selecting this target to maximize coordination w/others, use campaign number 6850. * Today at 17-23 UT (Noon-6pm EST), maintenance will be performed on the Open IONET. This could have an intermittent effect on communications to and from our network. * SPWG on Friday in the EOF after the Daily and Weekly meetings * SDO Holiday party at the Rec Center on Tuesday, 23 December from 12-7pm. Bring a dish. See the SOC for more details. * Commanding for next week: Expect to lose HR on 26m stations Tuesday, and on 34m stations Friday. Long DSN gaps. Mostly station pairs (one uplink and one downlink) after early Wednesday. Make sure to schedule ALL NRT with SOCs for next week and the remainder of the keyhole.
