SOHO Daily Meeting Minutes for Monday 22 December 2003 ANNOUNCEMENTS ------------- * The Goddard security level is increasing. All visitors must go through the Visitors Center to get badges between the hours of 6am and 6pm starting Tuesday 23 December. Effective immediately, all visitors with a blue, red, or yellow temporary or non-picture Visitor's Badge will be required on a daily basis to enter through Gate 5 which is located off of Soil Conservation Road. All visitor vehicles and personal items will be inspected. * On December 26 only the main gate can be used for GSFC access. * The current RHESSI default target is AR10528. When selecting this target to maximize coordination w/others, use campaign number 6850. * TRACE will do their last load for the week on Wednesday. * Today during the DSN gap the ECS software will be brought down for maintenance. There will also be RAID maintenance on the ECS computers during the same gap. * Security scans in the EOF were moved to be today. * The timeline for the 30 December maneuver is at http://soho.nascom.nasa.gov/soc/2003_Dec_sk_mm_roll * During the holiday season it is requested that non-used printers and computers be powered down. * KEYHOLE CONTACT SHORTLIST: If you are planning on doing remote health checks of your instrument during the keyhole, please inform the SOCs. We'd like to give the FOT a shortlist of people who may be calling in to have e.g. contingency scripts executed in case of problems. This will speed up the process of verifying that the caller is authorized to ask for such actions. Also, verify that your emergency contact list is up-to-date and is taking vacation plans into account. * Weather permitting, on Monday and Tuesday, December 22-23, there will be a helicopter flyover during the day (visual pictures) and one during the night (infrared survey) for assessing the condition of GSFC roofs. This was originally scheduled for November. The helicopter will fly within 1,000 feet of the buildings and will be noisy and visible.
