SOHO Daily Meeting Minutes for Monday 08 March 2004 ANNOUNCEMENTS ------------- * The current RHESSI default target are the trailing spots of AR10570. When selecting this target to maximize coordination w/others, use campaign number 6850. * We have been experiencing RFI for about 5 minutes near 23:02 UT for the past several days. Please avoid commanding at this time until this problem goes away. * During the gap in contact today the FOT will be switching to the new CMS release for their prime CMS. The older CMS software will be the backup CMS until operational testing of the new CMS has been completed. * Security scan in EOF today at 1:30 p.m.(18:30 UT) today. * Tuesday through Thursday parking availability anywhere close to Building 26 will be very limited due to the SDO PDR. * ICAL01 tomorrow at 20 UT. * Solar Science Seminar Wednesday, March 10, at 3:30 PM, Bldg. 26, Rm. G-10. Mike Marsh (U.Central Lancashire) will speak on "Propagating Oscillations Within Active Region Loops -- Coordinated Observations with SOHO/CDS and TRACE" * Fuel estimate for the maneuver on 30 March is 0.0698 kg. FOT REPORT ---------- Spacecraft Status: Nominal Inverted Roll Position Spacecraft Anomalies: None Accomplished Activities: DOY 065: SWAN, VIRGO, RSL New tracking star, mag = 4.35 DOY 066: Standard daily activities DOY 067: NONCOHO_04067 Planned Activities: New tracking star, mag = 6.5 Upcoming Operations: None Ground Anomalies: 065/2302 Lost TLM from 230207 to 230239 (32 sec), and again from 230255 to 230706 (4 min 9 sec), due to possible RFI at D16. Any lost data is unrecoverable. Commanding activities delayed 18 minutes. 066/0140 D46 unable to maintain lock on RCVR-1, and during sweep attempts had three sweeps extend beyond duration specified in the NOP. The three violating sweept attempts lasted for 5 minutes, 5 minutes 6 seconds, and 10 minutes 30 seconds respectively. Directed D46 to uplink into RCVR-2 in order to proceed with operations. Lost 6.5 hours of range data, and delayed command activities 1 hour. 066/0155 Lost 73 minutes of command ability and 108 seconds of recoverable TLM due to a TCP failure at D46. 066/0400 VIRGO time-tag command delayed several seconds due to the processing of ground commands by COBS at the same time. No impacts. 066/2300 Lost 4 minutes 19 seconds of unrecoverable TLM from D16, cause unknown. 067/2254 Received intermittent degraded TLM between 2254 and 2303 due to RFI at D16. Any lost data is unrecoverable. 068/0325 Received intermittent lost data between 0325 and 0423 due to a T1 line failure from Canberra to JPL. Lost data should be recoverable from the CDR. 068/0545 Lost 33 seconds of unrecoverable TLM, and 4 minutes of command ability, due to D46's antenna going off- point. 068/0915 D66 unable to maintain lock on RCVR-1. Lost 8 hours 50 minutes of range data, and delayed commanding activities 50 minutes. 068/0928 Lost 3 minutes 43 seconds of TLM from D66, cause unknown. Data recoverable from the SSR. 068/1001 Lost 1 minutes 6 seconds of TLM from D66, cause unknown but may have been due to a problem with the MFR. Data is recoverable from the SSR.
