WEEKLY MEETING MINUTES Week 05, 27 January - 2 February 2003 1. Announcements ---------------- * Visitors from Finland on 11 February at ~11am. * During the Kudo-Fujikawa comet obsrvations, the regular LASCO program will drop 1 C2 image per hour, and they will be in half resolution, during this campaign. C3 will be at the usual cadence (2/hour), times will be somewhat different, and one of the two will be half res. This may also impact the generation of the real-time gif/jpeg images (at worst, only the one full resolution C3 image per hour will make it to the web pages). Some EIT 195 CME Watch images will also have to be dropped during this campaign. 2. Operations Constraints ------------------------- * EIT bakeout begins on Friday * JOP161 test run on Thursday (TBC) * Commanding times for the week: Monday - Gap from 15:30-18:30 UT then D27. Tuesday - D27 from 16-18:30 UT with a gap before and after. Wednesday - D27 starting at 20 UT. Thursday - D27 starting at 19 UT. EUV intensities in AR's study on Tuesday and Wednesday. GIS spectral atlas on Thursday. Usual studies for the rest of the week. JOP161 test sometime during the week. UVCS: Comet observations and synoptic on Monday and Tuesday. Coronal hole study and synoptics on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday. Streamer study and synoptics over the weekend. LASCO: C2/C3 synoptics, JOP159 Wednesday - Friday, comet observations through Friday. Comet observations mean half resolution C2 images, fewer C2 images, and fewer EIT images. EIT: 195 CME watch and synoptics, JOP159 Wednesday - Friday, bakeout begins on Friday. MDI: Full disk and high resolution dopplergrams for continuous. TRACE: Comet observations on Tuesday, JOP161 test, full disk mosaics over the weekend.
