WEEKLY MEETING MINUTES Week 51, Dec. 18-24, 2000 1. Announcements ---------------- * ISTP Holiday Party Wednesday, December 20 at 11:30 a.m. in Building 3, Room N139. 2. Operations Constraints ------------------------- * DSS-27 on Monday from 15:35 to 22:15 UT. SUMER door closing and submode switch will be done on DSS-27 (not much of a choice with antennas). * CEPAC TSTOL commanding (3 hours) scheduled for Wednesday. No NRT during this time. Tentatively planned to give 1/2 hour NRT for those who may need it. Then start TSTOLs from 15:30 - 18:30 UT. 3. Wed Dec 20 Sunspot Oscillations Study & Target of Opportunity study. Thu Dec 21 Helium Cone (USUN_6) and Mechanism Lubrication Fri Dec 22 Mechanism Lubrication Study. Sat Dec 23 - Tues Dec 26 Christmas Study Continuous monitoring with a fixed pointing. Details TBA. This study will be run in place of the standard weekend programme on Dec 23/24. SUMER: Will be closing door on Monday at ~ 16 UT. UVCS: Alternating Ulysses support with 24 hour synoptics through Saturday. On Sunday, start program with NEAR. LASCO: C2 and C3 synoptics. Supporting UVCS/Ulysses with C2 pB in orange filter at 6 hr cadence. EIT: On Tuesday will support blinkers program with 2 hours of shutterless somewhere between 16-19 UT. EIT will need to have NRT available before and during the study. The shutterless study will not be run if there is high flare probability (will check solar status on Tuesday morning and decide). If an unexpected flare should happen during the study, EIT will stop shutterless observing immediately. When JOP135 begins, EIT will run a 304 Angstrom CME watch (instead of the usual 195) until probably ~ 01 UT on Christmas Day. MDI: Monday -- Full Disk Tuesday -- High Resolution Program for blinkers support Wednesday onward -- JOP135 support planned unless active regions appear in the high res field of view.
