J3 OFF-POINTING TEST

Please find below the draft script for the E/W part of the test scheduled 
for Thursday April 4, 1996.  This draft script has been used as input to 
the FOT in preparation of the actual pass plan.  Consequently some 
modifications are to be expected in the final implementation.

                     FOT to execute VIRGO commands as described in OCD 
            
 12:30-12:50   20m   Move to 10 arc-minutes East in steps of 30 arc-seconds
                      one step per minute (No NRT)

 12:50-13:10   20m   Move to 20 arc-minutes East in steps of 30 arc-seconds
                      one step per minute (No NRT) 
            
 13:10-14:10    1h   Dwell at 20 arc minutes East.  NRT enabled
  
 14:10-14:30   20m   Move back to 10 arc-minutes East in steps of 30 arc-seconds
                      one step per minute (No NRT)

 14:30-14:42    12m  Dwell at 10 arc minutes East.  NRT enabled
	     
                     FOT will execute VIRGO commands as described in OCD

                     Station hand-over (20m) between 16:20 and 16:40

                     FOT will enable NRT as soon as possible during each
                      step, providing approximately 10 minutes of NRT for 
                      each 12 minute step.
                      NOTE: The 12 minute steps are of fixed length and 
                            NRT cannot be extended past that limit  

                     FOT will execute VIRGO commands as described in OCD

                     For the last step, also dwell at zero for 12 minutes.

                     NRT enabled: UVCS will roll 180 degrees
             
 19:30-23:30   4h    Move to 10 arc minutes West in steps of 30 arc seconds
                      one step every 12 minutes (4h)

	             FOT will enable NRT as soon as possible during each
                      step, providing 10 minutes of NRT for each 12 minute
                      step. 

                     For the last step, dwell at 10 arc minutes West 
                      for 12 minutes and provide NRT

                     FOT will execute VIRGO commands as described in OCD
