Solar Physics, Vol.175 No.2 CD-ROM

This CD-ROM contains multimedia material (images, movies, and sounds)
that are referred to in papers published in the Volume 175, Number 2
issue of Solar Physics.

This material can be accessed using any WWW browser by opening the URL:

	file:/<your_CD-ROM_directory>/papers/index.htm

where <your_CD-ROM_directory> is the location of your system's CD-ROM 
drive. 

Some examples follow below.

Images, movies, and sounds are in GIF or JPEG, MPEG and/or QuickTime,
AIFF and AU formats, respectively. You may need additional software if
your WWW browser does not support these formats.


EXAMPLES OF HOW TO OPEN THE TABLE OF CONTENTS OF THE CD-ROM
-----------------------------------------------------------

- Windows (3.x and 95)

  Launch your WWW browser of choice and then load the file named
  'index.htm' under the 'papers' directory of the DOS drive that
  represents your CD-ROM. If your CD-ROM is 'D:', then

  URL:  file:/d:/papers/index.htm
  or,
 'Open File' menu and load d:\papers\index.htm


- Macintosh

  Launch your WWW browser, select 'Open File', click on 'Desktop' and
  select the volume with the name of the CD-ROM: SOL_PHYS_175_2


- Unix

  URL:  file:/cdrom/papers/index.htm

  You may need to substitute the mounting point of the CD-ROM for
  "/cdrom" or for "/cdrom/SOL_PHYS_175_2", depending on the Unix version 
  you are running.
