JOP 124, Eruptive filament in active region S.Regnier, J.Solomon, J.C.Vial P.Lemaire (SUMER) D.Pike (CDS) J.P.Delaboudiniere (EIT) F.Paletou (Themis, Tenerife) Received 14 April 2000 Purpose To find long period oscillations in active region filament, to obtain temperature, density and magnetic diagnostics of the active region for filament oscillations model. Method We plan to do long time observations (~7h) of a filament with a high temporal resolution (less than 30s) in the HeI line at 584.33A (CDS, SUMER), in the Halpha line (MSDP, Themis), in the HeII line at 304A (CDS). Temperature and density diagnostics of the active active is obtain by CDS. An overview of the active region is made by EIT in the FeXII line at 195A. Vector magnetic field is derived from MTR (Themis) observations. Scientific Objective During the last MEDOC campaign, we have found with SUMER long period oscillations in active region filament (a period range between 55min and 2h20min) in the HeI line at 584.33A. We would like to have new observational prove of these oscillations in several lines. On the other hand, we compared observational periods with a prominence model (Joarder & Roberts, 1992). Some parameters could be observed as temperature and density of the active region, the angle between the filament and the magnetic field supporting the filament, the width and the length of the filament. References Joarder, P.S., Roberts, B., 1992, A&A, 277, 225 Observing program The target for all the studies is the same active region. SUMER and CDS (studies 1 and 2) observe a filament in or near the active region.
