CDS IDLE CHECK

NOTE: CDS has created 4 tstols that will allow the FOT to run scripts for common CDS activities. The 4 tstols are for CDS submode preparation to make sure CDS is properly prepped for the sumbode change, to safe CDS incase of a proton event, to close CDS doors, and to open CDS doors.

TSTOL - CDS_SUBMODE_PREP

• Purpose: This procedure will open/ensure CDS is prepared for submode transition.
• When: Prior to any submode transition, and Only upon CDS or SOC request.
  • If CKCMODE (does not equal) "90" then abort.

TSTOL - CDS_PROTON_SAFE

• Purpose: This procedure is to be run if proton levels GEOS-8 energy threshold "50 MEV" (blue line) reaches or exceeds level 10^2, CDS will beed to be safed.
• When: Only upon CDS request.
  • Disable CDS deferred commands stored
  • Abort current running study
  • Clear deferred commands stored
  • Disable NIS high voltage
  • Disable GIS high voltage

TSTOL - CDS_SHUTDOORS

• Purpose: This procedure will close CDS doors.
• When: Only upon CDS request.
  • Turn on power to door
  • Shut VDS door
  • Shut GIS door
  • Turn off power to door

TSOTL - CDS_OPENDOORS

• Purpose: This procedure will open CDS doors.
• When: Only upon CDS request.
  • Turn on power to door
  • Open VDS door
  • Open GIS door
  • Turn off power to door
