THERMAL INFORMATION
THERMAL INFORMATION
Spacecraft Thermal Info:
On the ground, limits can be set for any mnemonic:
RL (red low), YL (yellow low), YH (yellow high), RH (red high)
. Also, delta limits can be defined - they flag when a change is bigger than an allowed delta.
Instrument mnemonics usually begin with the first letter of the instrument, for example:
MIPWA = MDI current
.
Exceptions:
N=SWAN, L=EIT and LASCO, F=CELIAS, H=CEPAC
. There are spacecraft subsystem mnemonics that begin with
TT
. Instrument related spacecraft mnemonics begin with
QT
.
On the spacecraft, thermal mnemonics are automatically monitored if the function is enabled, and action is taken if needed. Monitoring of individual mnemonics can be disabled.
Each spacecraft temperature mnemonic has a
T1, T2, T3, T4
.
T1 & T2 -> keeps the temperature between these 2 numbers if temperature is themostatically controlled -
NOT used for most mnemonics
T3 & T4 -> if temperature goes outside of these, corrective action is taken
For information about thermal reconfigurations, see
/u/ecs/soc/info/rtu_reconfig.txt
T1 & T2 values are inside T3 & T4 values. Ground red limits are also inside the T3 & T4 values.
Each
QT
and
TT
has a defined T1, T2, T3, T4.
