Study 000023: This study constructs a simple 120 exposure by 512 arcsec high sit-and-stare data set using 90 s exposures and a 1 arcsec slit. Only a limited line list is used, most of them reasonably strong. The 90 s exposure time should give good results in quiet regions. Longer times can be covered by repeating the raster. Pointing can be an issue. It would be good to make some sort of context raster before doing this one. Note that this study was designed early in the mission and did not fully utilize the EIS telemetry allocation. Better raster studies with more lines should probably be used now. The study makes no slit/slot moves and so can run through SAAs. WARNING: none.
