Study 000150: CME Onset slit study: Slit/slot: 2" slit No of fine mirror steps: 119 Step size: 2" Total spatial width: 240" Window height (solar-y): 504 pixels Exposure time: 30 seconds Cadence 1h 6m 6 seconds Compression: DCPM Data rate: 49.6998 kbits/second Notes to planners ----------------- Both of the CME onset studies: cmeo_slot and cmeo_slit are designed to observe coronal dimming (on the limb of the Sun) which is associated with mass ejection. Pointing should be at an active region on the solar limb. In solar-y, the raster should be centred on the active region. In solar-x, the raster should overlap the limb slightly, but have the majority of the raster above the limb. We are trying both slit and slot rasters to observe coronal dimming. They do not have to be run at the same time. However, it would be beneficial for both studies to be run on the same active region once (minimum 6 hours each), so that we can determine which study is best for this type of observation. In each study, there is one raster, which should be repeated to fill the available time. WARNING: None
