Study 000219: ACRONYM: el_sumer_uvcs_1 Intended to take 50"-wide rasters of the boundary between coronal holes and streamers outside the solar disk, using the full wavelength range allowed by EIS and a 400"-long section of the EIS slit. The raster is preferred over a sit'n'stare observation to ensure that the field of view of the simultaneous SUMER observation is included in the EIS field of view. Exposure time is chosen as a compromise between high signal-to-noise observations and a compact study of the same length as the SUMER study. TARGET : Boundary between coronal holes and streamers EXPOSURE TIME : 150s SLIT : 2" FOV : 50"x400" SPECTRAL WIND.: 1024 DATA COMP. : JPEG POINTING: Target: Off-limb region at the solar polar holes. Slit to be positioned at several heights whose coordinates will be chosen to follow the boundary between coronal hole and streamer at many heights above the limb. WARNING: None
