Study 000238: ACRONYM: CHROMO_EVAP_RM_V2 This study is designed to detect Doppler shifts in several high temperature emission lines as signatures of chromospheric evaporation. It also includes a pair of density sensitive Fe XII lines for density diagnostics. TARGET: Flare EXPOSURE TIME: 1s RASTER: Scanning SLIT: 2" STEP SIZE: 2" FOV: 152"x152" RASTER DURATION: 4m 00s Note: Uses JPEG95 compression. Pointing: Any flaring active region within approximately ±600" of disk center for accurate line-of-sight velocity measurements. Use/Instructions to planners: The CHROMO_EVAP_RM_V2 study is one hour in duration (15 repeats of a 4 minute raster). It should be run in large blocks of several hours (e.g. 12 repeats for 12 hours) to increase the probability of jointly observing a flare with RHESSI. WARNING None.
