Study 000287: ACRONYM: LT_CH_1_510x256_1 Intended to study the morphology and flows in the boundary region between coronal holes and quiet Sun. The study is a sparse-raster of a large area with the 2" slit and step size 4" (128 pointing positions), for 6 spectral windows. Spectral windows are selected to include He II (blend) 256.2, O V 192.9, Fe VIII 186.6, Fe X 184.5, Fe XI (blend) 192.8, Fe XII 186.8, 195.1, Fe XIV 264.7, i.e. with a good temperature coverage for coronal holes/quiet Sun. TARGET : Coronal Hole/Quiet Sun boundary EXPOSURE TIME : 40s RASTER : Scanning SLIT : 2" STEP_SIZE : 4" FOV : 512"x256" SPECTRAL WIND.: 6 DATA COMP. : DCPM VOLUME : 32.5 Mbits RASTER DURATON: 1h 34m POINTING: On-disc coronal hole boundary. If possible repeat with 2-3 different pointings. INSTRUCTION TO PLANNERS: There should be ample coverage in each exposure of at least a part of Quiet Sun. This is to ensure proper wavelength calibration using the Quiet Sun as a reference. WARNING: This study is not suitable for active regions since some of the strong lines might saturate.
