Study 000426: ACRONYM: ATLAS_060X512_45S TARGET: Active Region EXPOSURE TIME: 45s RASTER: Scanning SLIT: 1" FOV: 60"x512" (1" steps) RASTER DURATION: 49m35s VOLUME: 823 Mbits RATE: 276 kbits/s COMPRESSION: DPCM This is a VERY high data rate study for times during eclipse when SOT is not operating, such as during a bakeout. The full CCD is taken over a relatively small field of view (60x512) so that larger areas can be built up over time. Pointing: --------- If using for velocity studies, adjust the pointing so that there is plenty of quiet Sun at the top OR the bottom of the slit. Position the active region at the top or bottom third of the slit. Instruction to planners: ------------------------ This study only does 60 steps of 45s exposures so that it can be during eclipse season. This version of the study uses 45s exposures and can be run when there are both hard eclipses and SAAs. *** Use the 60s version (ID #427) of this raster (atlas_060x512_60s) for observing during the Golden period (non SAA). *** Use DPCM if possble, otherwise use JPEG95 or JPEG92. Warning: ------- * VERY HIGH DATA RATE! * Do (not) run during SAA passes or eclipse
