Study 000439: ACRONYM: iiap_ch_sns_v2 This is a SNS study for HOP 0175 to detect propagating waves in polar coronal hole. DPCM is requested to ensure good line profiles. TARGET : Coronal Hole. EXPOSURE TIME : 60s RASTER TYPE : Sit'n'stare SLIT : 2" # of pointings: 180 DATA COMP. : DPCM RASTER DURATON: 3h 14m DATA VOLUME : 260 Mbits LINES : Fe X, Fe XII, Ca XVII, Fe XII, Fe XIII, Fe XIII, He II POINTING: --------- For HOP 0175, the 512" long slit should be positioned on a coronal hole such that 300" part of the slit should be above the limb. INSTRUCTION TO PLANNERS: ------------------------ For HOP 0175 the studies should be run in the following order (preferably chained, i.e. appended to the context raster). 1) Run iia_ch_ctxt_v2 (context study, #ID 438) 2) Run this study TWICE (sit'n'stare study), as follows * For first run choose X=0" and * For the second run shift the X position by about 30" so that both the plume and interplume regions are covered. Total Run-time: ~7h 35m Total data volume: 620 Mbits WARNING: -------- * Run preferably during SAA-free time period (start of golden period) * High data volume HOP
