Study 000455: ACRONYM: FLARE266_TEST2 This study is designed to make test observations of an active region in the 266" slot centered at He II 256 & Fe XXIV 192. The goal is to collect information on the count rates and the impact of SAA for a flare trigger study. Relatively short exposures and very high compression are used, which compromises the usefulness of the data for science. Only 27 Mbits of telemetry per hour are generated. TARGET: Flaring Active Region EXPOSURE TIME: 5s RASTER: Sit-and-Stare SLIT: 266" FOV: 272"x400" RASTER DURATION: 59m55s VOLUME: 27 Mbits RATE: 7.4 kbits/s COMPRESSION: JPEG65 - HIGHLY COMPRESSED Pointing: --------- The center of a flaring active region. Instructions to planners: ------------------------- Run for the longest possible duration. Warning: ------- Short exposures and high compression.
