Study 000470: ACRONYM: HPW021_VEL_001x512v1 This study is designed for velocity studies in and around active regions. The primary features of this study are: [1] full slit, [2] relatively deep exposures (60s), and [3] extensive line list. The current thinking is that the Fe VIII 185 and Si VII 275 lines are the best lines for velocity calibration. The planner should (not) put the feature of interest in the middle of the slit. Using the bottom or top third will provide more quiet Sun for velocity calibration.
