Study 000551: ACRONYM: si_mercury_slit This study is for Mercury transit observation to observe possible EUV spectral properties of the Mercury atmosphere. This study is for off limb observation with deep exposure. The detail instruction will be provided by Kyoung-Sun (lksun@solar.isas.jaxa.jp) and Shibayama-san (shibayama@stelab.nagoya-u.ac.jp) Slit: 2" FOV: 2"X256" Type: sit and stare No. of expo.: 1 Exposure: 60 sec Data rate: 85.14 kBits/s Data Volume: 7.5 Mbits Duration: 1 min 27 sec Lines: Full CCD (main targets are OIV, OV, OVI) Pointing: -------- The pointing should be located at the center of Mercury, as close as possible. Instructions to planners: ------------------------- To be provided by Kyoung-Sun (lksun@solar.isas.jaxa.jp) and Shibayama-san (shibayama@stelab.nagoya-u.ac.jp) Warning: -------- 1) High data rate 2) Allow additional 2 minutes to the raster run-time to account for the data transmission (ICU to MDP). If raster repeat is used, add 2m run time per raster run.
