Study 000612: Updated by M. Whillock, MSSL, 20220624. Copied from study id 0000499, increased exposure time by 50%. ACRONYM: FULL_SUN_SLOT_SCAN_4 This is the revised version of full_sun_slot_scan_1. Several lines (Fe VIII, Fe XIV, Si X, S X) have been added. It is the basic unit of the full solar disk slot scan. See HOP130 for details: "Multi-temperature Full Disk Slot Scan". Fifteen, 30s exposures at adjacent pointings with a 8" overlap, resulting in a 488"x512" FOV every 7.5 minutes. TARGET: Quiet Sun and Active Region EXPOSURE TIME: 30s RASTER: Scanning SLIT: 40" STEP SIZE: 32" FOV: 488"x512" RASTER DURATION: 6m7s VOLUME: 14 Mbits RATE: 38.8 kbits/s COMPRESSION: JPEG85 Pointing: --------- Pointing (when run as HOP130) 15 spacecraft pointings covering full disk. Two EIS pointings per spacecraft pointing, i.e. **** TOP and BOTTOM portions of the CCDs with possible rows overlapping**** to maximize the area and minimize spacecraft pointings Exact pointing positions and times will be provided by the points of contact: Ignacio Ugarte-Urra (iugarte@ssd5.nrl.navy.mil) or David Brooks (dhbrooks@ssd5.nrl.navy.mil) Warning: ------- If run for HOP130, (keep) compression at Q85 to avoid artifacts.
