The DSN has continued to experience transponder loss of lock, as on previous days; same station - Canberra 34 m antenna. XTE launch support requirements continue to introduce some uncertainties into the planning for SOHO support. SOHO contact today will begin at 1900 UT. Experiments: Virgo uploaded a command file; there were NRT intervals foDS and Lasco - a command failure was noted during the Lasco sequence, but the sequence was successfully repeated. Golf cell temperature raised to 190 deg; door opened briefly - everything has now been tested successfully, and th einstrument placed in safe mode until after the thruster firing. Virgo and MDI nominal; MDI took picture, demonstrating the camera works. Sumer nominal; CDS prepared for switch-on tomorrow. Lasco planning to move legs to correct instrument mispoint - it was pointed out that this is an advance of an operation that had been planned for later in the nominal timeline; therefore an OCD is required. EIT will attempt to raise CCD temperature further. UVCS nominal; Swan prepared to move mechanism today. CEPAC - all sensors on: ESU, LION, EPHIN. Celias - power on DPU; open MTOF door asap; switch on postponed. Momentum management (reaction wheel dumps and thruster firings) originally scheduled for Tuesday has been moved because of XTE launch support requirements. Tape Recorder tests postponed for the same reason. Meetings: Wed, 13/12 Go through list of joint operations tests; start working on procedures.
