GROUND SYSTEM ANOMALY SUMMARY: 349/0914 - Degraded TM due to bandwidth limitation (8 min recovered) 349/1552 - TM dropout due to D24 rcvr problem (9 min recovered) 349/2030 - TC Block Sequence Error during LASCO NRT 350/0155 - TM dropout due to unknowm comm line (18 min recovered) 350/0208 - TM dropout due to Camberra power failure (16 min urecovered S/C Anomaly Summary: NONE Accomplished Activities: RSL, VIRGO , 3-day contimouus Ops Start Planned Activities: RSL, VIRGO INSTRUMENT STATUS: CDS: Nominal. Took many NIS spectra from limb to Sun Center(opacity study). Observed two actrive regions, one at west limb and one at AR8004. Continue supporting JOP's 54,55,57 SUMER: Nominal. Started Hi resolution line profiles at Sun Center. Continue supporting JOP's 55,57 UVCS: Nominal. Continue supporting JOP055 LASCO: Nominal. Synoptic program. Noticed a reconfiguration on the E. limb streamer. Caught what appeared to be a sun grazing comet on Dec 11-12. EIT: Nominal. Supported JOP057 on Sat, JOP054 on Sun. Today will support JOP057. MDI: Nominal. Continuous contact until Wed evening. COMMENTS: S. Koutchmy commented on the amount of event observations by Yokkoh and encouraged the continuation of SOHO cooperation especially with the support of CDS, SUMER and EIT. PLANNING ACTIVITIES: For tomorrow: SUMER is planning to observe the central Meridian. CDS will support SUMER's central Meridian observations with a series of studies run simultaneously with SUMER.
