Daily meeting minutes (May 9, 1996) ____________________________________ Announcements : Art Poland confirmed that the Science Club Meeting will be held as usual next Wednesday (presentation by GGS team) and asked for a SOHO volonteer for another presentation at that meeting. FOT report ------------ - spacecraft nominal - from 13:07 to 14:14 : data drop, was recovered - at 11:49 : D66 station stopped tracking. This produced a 9' loss of data. - today : nominal HGA control table load Instrument report ------------------ - MDI : nominal, today : High-resolution heliograms - SUMER : nominal. Yesterday, SUMER made a wavelength calibration, a magnetic wave study (polar hole), a magnetic loop study and a prominence study. - CDS : instrument "unchanged". Yesterday , CDS made an active region study on the SE and NW AR's, as well as a high-velocity study. - LASCO : nominal, normal synoptic program - EIT : nominal, normal synoptic program. Yesterday, during NRT, two high-rate image sequences were successfully tested in the context of the new "two- month" EIT/LASCO observing plan. A fast "jet" event could be captured in a 6-minute time interval (SE active region). - UVCS : nominal. UVCS will carry on the normal synoptic program, including electron temperature measurements JOPs - Campaigns ----------------- Many JOPs are scheduled for tomorrow (May 10) : - JOP015 will be run, as CDS can support it. Start : 00:00 UT Duration : 3 h, target position : (-60,-66) - CDS cannot support INTERCAL002 (ph. 2a-2b). So, this JOP is posponed for a few weeks. - JOP002 will be tested by SUMER and UVCS (normal synoptic images from EIT and LASCO will be used) Start : 17:00 UT Duration : 2 hours - JOP013 will be run by CDS and MDI Start : 19:00 Duration : 6.5 hours (Notes by F. Clette, EIT)
