However, it was for a 7.5 magnitide star. additional star of magnitude 6.1 was acquired in slot 1. Accomplished Activities: RSL, VIRGO, CELIAS, Acquired additional star, slot 1 Planned Activities: RSL, VIRGO No Ground System Anomalies/Telemetry Losses to report. PACOR REPORT: None PLANNED SCIENCE ACTIVITIES: TODAY: JOP 029 and suppport for VLA observations TOMMOROW: JOP 029, and a SUMER Bright Point Campaign with participation from EIT, CDS, and a number of ground-based stations. INSTRUMENT STATUS: CDS: Nominal: Supporting JOP 0292 and VLA observations. Taking spectra(atlas) SUMER: Will be observing two filaments for VLA collaboration, but no prominences, as none are visible. EIT: Terminated CCD bakeout and find substantial improvement in on burned-in area. Returning to synoptic observations and will image filaments near meridian at S 40 and at east limb for VLA support. UVCS: Will run a polar plume study on 9/18, to be supported by EIT. LASCO: Running synoptic program. MDI: Nominal
