East limb activity today. Coronal holes on disk. 3 filemanes on disk. Loops in SE active region. INSTRUMENT STATUS ----------------- CDS: Nominal. Ephemeral AR study with Tenerife over the weekend. Saturday looked for transition region brightening in AR over E limb and looked for loop filling factors below the AR on the disk in the West. Sunday coordinated with VLA on the 4 AR's and took spectral readouts of 2 AR's. Today did Ephemeral AR study with Tenerife and will do limb brightening observations and synoptic program. SUMER: Nominal. Did Tenerife campaign today. Taking reference spectra in South and will go to the North later today. UVCS: Nominal. Saturday looked at the disk in Lyman alpha and Oxygen VI. Sunday did Oxygen VI and Lyman alpha observations from 2 Rs - 5 Rs. Today is Abundance observation at 1.6 Rs on the East limb. Presented a viewgraph of a CME observation. LASCO: Nominal. C2 and C3 are working fine with the new software, C1 is operational but still requires further testing. Polarization brightness observations today. EIT: Nominal. Ended bakeout Sunday at 20:00 UT. Doing calibrations and 195 Angstrom full disk campaign. Tomorrow will join the Ephemeral AR study. MDI: Nominal. Quiet sun program continued through early Saturday and was changed to a full disk program for that day and early Sunday. Switched to a high res campaign Sunday at 15:30 and this will continue through today.
