CDS saw a macrospicule in the north coronal hole over the weekend about 60 arcseconds long. LASCO saw a faint CME on the SW limb late on 10 Aug and early on 11 Aug. EIT saw a CME on the NW limb on Sat from 02:00-05:30 UT and another CME on the disk at 01:12 UT today. EIT also saw the SW event on Sunday at 00:51 UT. Comet Tabur is now expected to arrive on Sunday and will be in the LASCO field of view for 20 days. INSTRUMENT STATUS ----------------- CDS: Nominal. Over the weekend did a spicule study on the north pole, looked at the active region on the W limb, and studied the north coronal hole. Today will be full sun spectra for the SEM rocket calibration. SUMER: Nominal. Today the observation will be the rocket intercalibration. UVCS: Nominal. Did minor ion study over the weekend at 1.9 Rs. Today will be observations of the streamer on the W limb. LASCO: Nominal. Synoptic program and calibration rocket support today. On Wednesday will be calibration activities. EIT: Nominal. Supporting MDI continuous contact by taking partial field images and doing CME watch. At 18:05 UT, EIT starts the intercalibration rocket observations. MDI: Nominal. In continuous contact through early Thursday. Taking a velocity image and a high resolution magnetogram every minute.
