We will not be in DSN contact at this time. DSN schedule also currently being reworked due to TRMM launch slip and TOMS spacecraft emergency. We will plan a new time to switch submodes later after the meeting. Ground Anomalies: 321/1605 - Late AOS; D27 Equipment problems (19 min delay) 321/1735 - Resweeps required for RCVR1 at D27 (24 min delay) 321/1815 - TM Dropout; D27 Equipment problem (3 min, recoverable) 321/1838 - TC Block Length Error (19 min NRT pause) 321/1920 - Prime POCC String #1 Crashed (10 min NRT pause) Rocket and Shuttle Status ------------------------- * SERTS calibration rocket flight from White Sands, still scheduled for today, Launch window: 19:35 - 19:50 UT, Wallops will be providing backup telemetry support from 17 - 22 UT. * STS-87 launch carrying Spartan 201 payload still scheduled for tomorrow at 19:46 UT with 2h 30min launch window. Solar Status ------------ EIT prominence in the Northwest lifted off into a CME at ~ 07 - 08 UT. LASCO detected the CME off the West limb at ~ 14:00 UT. Detected a jet emanating from active region 8108, which was the target for JOP060. Instrument Status ----------------- CDS -- nominal. Supporting SERTS launch. (After the meeting they changed their pointing selection to an area between the two sunspot regions of active region 8108). JOP018 and transient bright point studies are also planned. UVCS -- nominal. Testing planned observations for Spartan launch along with the synoptic program. LASCO -- nominal. Detected several CMEs. They will start increasing their cadence of C2 and C3 in support of the Spartan observations. They will also take polarization sequences in various color filters again for Spartan support. EIT -- Added 284 full disk image in SERTS support program. CME watch continues. MDI -- Today, running mag movies campaign. Tomorrow, will take advantage of the very long contact to run a high resolution magnetogram campaign. Reported on seeing a periodic drift of 1 arcsecond in PZTs from 04-08 UT. Although only a small amount of movement, it is occurring at the same time daily.
