A halo event may have occurred last night around 23:46. This was detected in EIT full disk 195 images and originated in AR8123 Instrment Status ---------------- SUMER - Door Closed. CDS - Performed a GIS and NIS observation of the active region 8123. Will be closing doors today at 15:30 UT, and will open again at 20 UT tomorrow. Observations will resume on Sunday at 0 UT. UVCS - Solar wind studies at 5 and 4 solar radii. LASCO - Closing doors, and will reopen around 21:00 tomorrow. While doors are closed, will perform C2 & C3 closed door calibrations. EIT - CME watch with full-field, full-res. Will perform some tests for the submode 2 sequence, and around 21:30, will begin a CME watch in high cadence. MDI - High-res active region study in the upper half of the high-res field of view, and a full disk campaign will begin on Sunday.
