Fri - Slow filament eruption from NW at 23:00. Sat - NW eruption continued at 07:42 and resulted in a CME. Filament erupted in SW at 18:48. Sun - NW limb still emitting. Mini CME's at SE at 00:35. Today - At 01:22, 02:29 AR 8131/32 had several Moreton Waves At 04:00, Halo CME from AR 8131. At 04:24, small CME from the AR behind the NW limb. At 05:22. AR 8131/32 produced unusual spikes in the soft x-rays as well as hot loops, (post cme arcades), and transient dimmings. At 08:42, Event at from SE towards extension of S coronal hole. INSTRUMENT STATUS ----------------- CDS: Nominal. Weekend: synoptic, off limb coronal observations. Today: JOP 77, JOP 63, spectra of AR 8131 and 8132. UVCS: Nominal. Sunday: flat field calibrations of O VI channel in Ly-a redundant region, South pole observations at 6 Rs. Today: JOP 77 looking at 1.6 Rs with Ly-a redundant region of O VI channel. Tomorrow will be a similar observation. LASCO: Nominal. Synoptic and JOP 77 support this week. EIT: Nominal. 171/195 ratio CME watch and supporting JOP63. MDI: Nominal. Continuing continuous contact. AOB --- JOP 77 target is off limb in SW. JOP 63 target is off limb in NW, pointing : X=565, Y=820 (SOHO coordinates- ground based about 1% smaller) Time: For CDS 19:30-23:04 UT of this 19:30-20:34 UT Imaging (1 raster) 20:35-22:00 - A spectrum with no resolution in the East-West direction 22:00-23:04 UT Imaging (1 raster) For EIT 19:30-20:30 UT
