Today: UVCS is looking at 2.5 Ro: 1h of relaxation time and 9h of coronal observation. Tomorrow similar program looking at 3.5 Ro. LASCO: Nominal. Yesterday and today: Synoptic observation, JOP 77. This Saturday LASCO will switch to a Fe X polar plume campaign which will last until Monday. EIT: Nominal. Yesterday there was a disk CME at ~ 23:11 UT. LASCO only described it as a "weak puff". A.O.B. ------ Some discussion about next week's DSN since people will be planning for next week this afternoon: * On Tuesday, January 20 we have a downlink only station, between 19:00 and 03:05 UT (2:00 pm - 10:05 pm local GSFC time). No commanding will be available so * PLAN ACCORDINGLY * !!! * Also, launch of the SNOE spacecraft (which MDI was previously notified that it may cause gaps in their continuous contact) has been postponed until February 3. Impacts to our DSN schedule for that week have not been evaluated yet.
