Spacecraft Anomalies: 0240 - VIRGO Main Current Red Low Discussion about the VIRGO: 02:40 UT - VIRGO's main current RED LOW, VIRGO team contacted ~05:30 UT - VIRGO turned off, then on and additional procedures run. 08:20 UT - VIRGO drawing nominal current and looks okay. MDI experienced pointing excursions which began at 02:40 and continued until about 08:20 UT. This was typical of the incident which occurred in September of 1996. Accomplished Activities: RSL, VIRGO, SWAN OCD 745 - VIRGO Recovery Planned Activities: RSL, HGA Nominal, VIRGO Upcoming Operations: 29 Mar - Memory Dumps/TR Maintenance 17 Apr - Stationkeeping Maneuver Ground Anomalies: 085/0056 - 30 sec tm loss, SFG hit, data recovered 085/0455 - 2.5 hr outage in voice communications SOLOR CONDITIONS ---------------- As the meeting began an M2 solar flare was in progress. INSTRUMENT STATUS ----------------- CDS: Nominal. Active Region Atlas, Synoptic, Plumes in Sunspots SUMER: Not presently observing. UVCS: Nominal. Executing CME Watch with LASCO (C1). Saw a 2-fold brightening at 4 solar radii after SW event LASCO: Nominal. Executing CME Watch with UVCS. EIT: Nominal. CME Watch in 195 Angstroms. MDI: Nominal. Continuing continuous observations.
