SOLAR STATUS ------------ SOLAR ACTIVITY FORECAST: SOLAR ACTIVITY IS EXPECTED TO BE LOW TO MODERATE WITH REGION 8471 AS THE PRIMARY FLARE PRODUCER. GEOPHYSICAL ACTIVITY FORECAST: THE GEOMAGNETIC FIELD IS EXPECTED TO BE QUIET TO ACTIVE. A HIGH-SPEED STREAM FROM A WELL POSITIONED CORONAL HOLE IN THE SOLAR SOUTHERN HEMISPHERE MAY AFFECT THE NEAR-EARTH ENVIRONS DURING THE PERIOD. CME and eruptive prominence 8471 active in NW. Saturday - 01:00 eruptive prominence and CME from E limb, 06:48 CME on S/SW limb, 21:00 W limb CME. Sunday - Flares from AR 8471, eruptive prominence from E limb at 07:18, M flare at 16:31 from AR 8471 - had a CME and Moreton wave.
