One science packet lost (instrument unknown). Accomplished Activities: VIRGO, CELIAS, SWAN Planned Activities: VIRGO,RSL Upcoming Operations: IMOC Day Operations 6/23-7/14. String handovers 8am and 4pm. Ground Anomalies: 0814 2 min. TM dropout due to PTP failure. Recoverable. SOLAR STATUS ------------ SOLAR ACTIVITY FORECAST: SOLAR ACTIVITY IS EXPECTED TO BE AT LOW TO MODERATE LEVELS FOR THE NEXT THREE DAYS. GEOPHYSICAL ACTIVITY FORECAST: THE GEOMAGNETIC FIELD IS EXPECTED TO REMAIN QUIET FOR THE FIRST TWO DAYS OF THE PERIOD. BY DAY THREE A RECURRENT SOUTHERN CORONAL HOLE IS FORECAST TO INCREASE THE FIELD TO UNSETTLED CONDITIONS. 6/21 DOY 172: 15:12 UT EIT sees small flare/CME from AR8585 in NW quadrant. Lasco C2 sees small outflow all afternoon. 18:00 Small jet from AR8583 on limb in SW. Continued low class activity from AR cluster coming around on NE (ARs 8592, 8594, 8596, 8597, 8598). 6/22 DOY 173: AR cluster continues to be very active, but no major events to report. INSTRUMENT STATUS ----------------- CDS: Nominal. Performed JOP 98 and JOP 108. JOP 98 today and Helium Study with Kitt Peak. SUMER: Nominal. Closed, not observing UVCS: Nominal. Performed synoptics and Global Sun Study. Today the same. Sun Study at West limb, 4.8 Rsun and 5.5 Rsun LASCO: Nominal. C2 and C3 synoptics while CME watching.
