Spacecraft Anomalies: None. Accomplished Activities: 232 - RSL, SWAN, VIRGO, CEPAC back to nominal (OCD #1231) 233 - SWAN, VIRGO, FSM, Extra VC2 234 - VIRGO, Noncoho load, Extra VC2 Planned Activities: VIRGO Ground Anomalies: 234/1903 TM Dropout and sudden drop in downlink AGC at D16. Cause unknown. 1 minute dropout, unrecoverable. 234/2228 CPA failure at D34. 3 minute delay in activities. SOLAR STATUS ------------ SOLAR ACTIVITY FORECAST: SOLAR ACTIVITY IS EXPECTED TO CONTINUE TO BE MODERATE TO HIGH. GEOPHYSICAL ACTIVITY FORECAST: THE GEOMAGNETIC FIELD IS EXPECTED REMAIN QUIET TO UNSETTLED. Today the star Alpha Leo is visible in C2. MDI also caught the two M flares that occured Saturday at 16:34 UT and 22:14 UT. INSTRUMENT STATUS ----------------- CDS: Nominal. Observing streamer in NE today and will switch to streamer in SW tomorrow following UVCS's lead. Will be performing their mechanical movements today. SUMER: Nominal. Observing Alpha Leo. UVCS: Nominal. Observing streamer in the SW today to support JOP076 and running full synoptic. LASCO: Nominal. Supporting JOP076, running polarizer campaign in C3/C2. Also, running reduced exposure time campaign in C2 to support Alpha Leo observations. EIT: Nominal. 195A CME watch with extra 284A support for JOP076. MDI: Nominal. Full disk magnetogram and cropped dopplergram campaign.
