D66. Clock sync problem at JPL. Recoverable. 048/1511 23 Min TM dropout. D66. SCP Failure. Recoverable. SOLAR STATUS ------------ EIT saw 9 CMEs overnight, including the start of a proton shower at ~ 09:36 UT LASCO seeing 360 degree picture perfect halos. INSTRUMENT STATUS ----------------- CDS: Nominal. Polarity reversal study today. Over the weekend will be observing on the West limb and doing off-limb polar studies. UVCS: Nominal. Obtained 7 hours of great stellar observations yesterday. Today, global corona study continues at 90 degrees through the weekend. LASCO: Nominal. Observations with C2 and C3 while CME watching. EIT: Nominal. CME Watch, Full resolution 195 Angstrom images at 12-minute cadence. MDI: Nominal. Investigated, but could see no anomaly -- that the motor was stuck. They will investigate their telemetry further. Full disk observations today and through the weekend in support of emerging flux program with TRACE. Full disk magnetograms and cropped dopplergrams. TRACE: Nominal. Again, TRACE will be looking for emerging flux, interrupted only by a focus check during an SAA. The target is just to the east of AR 8870.
