ANNOUNCEMENTS

* Change to Submode #6 at 17 UT today.
* PBS special "Solar Blast" will air at 8 p.m. EDT, featuring (among other
things) SOHO people and data.
* EUTELSAT is scheduled to launch at 21:37 UT Wednesday night.
SOHO's DSN coverage has changed quite a lot for Wednesday
through Saturday.

INSTRUMENT STATUS

CDS: Nominal. Today - Polarity reversal study on both poles and
spectral atlas. Wednesday - full sun study for 13.5 hours, then
snaps of sunspots in the East.
UVCS: Nominal. Finishing up 24-hour synoptics. At 16 UT UVCS switches
to CME Watch mode on AR near the SW at 245 degrees. They will
observe this region for about 4 days.
LASCO: Nominal. C2 and C3 synoptics.
EIT: Nominal. 195 Angstrom CME watch and synoptics.
MDI: Nominal. Full disk magnetograms and dopplergrams.
Wednesday - MDI will observe AR 9011 in high resolution
field of view with La Palma and TRACE from 8 to 12 UT.
TRACE: Nominal. Today engineering and studies with La Palma
centering between AR 9002 and AR 9004. Tomorrow morning
TRACE will observe AR 9011 early in the day and then
continue on target as specified by La Palma.
