SOHO Daily Meeting Minutes for Friday, 19 January 2001 FOT REPORT ---------- Spacecraft Status: Nominal Spacecraft Anomalies: None Accomplished Activities: NOM HGA, VIRGO, SWAN, Extra VC2 Planned Activities: RSL, VIRGO, Extra VC2 Upcoming Operations: 1/29 TR Maintenance 2/08 Offpoint Operations Ground Anomalies: None SOLAR STATUS ------------ EIT daily On-Line Solar Status and observations: http://umbra.nascom.nasa.gov/eit/plan/log_form20010119.html INSTRUMENT STATUS ----------------- CDS: Nominal. Today: Sunspot study at disk center and polarity reversal study at one of the poles. CDS will do a 24 hour CME watch at the area where TRACE is currently observing (AR 9306/9308) from 7 UT Saturday until 7 UT Sunday. Additional polar studies are also planned for the weekend. UVCS: Nominal. Today and Saturday UVCS will observe at the South pole with ULYSSES. This will be followed by 24-hour synoptics with focus in the South. LASCO: Nominal. C2 and C3 synoptics. EIT: Nominal. 195 Angstrom CME watch and synoptics. Early Saturday EIT will skip a 195 CME watch image to do a calibration image. They will be doing this on a regular basis for one month. MDI: Nominal. Full disk magnetograms and dopplergrams will be MDI's default mode through the weekend. TRACE: Nominal. Following AR 9306 to West limb, then switching to CDS's target for the weekend active region study.
