TM loss, unrecov; 15 minutes TC loss)

INSTRUMENT STATUS

CDS: Nominal. Today - Polarity reversal study and CME watch on AR 9445
(this replaces the usual CDS weekend CME watch). Saturday -
Off-limb coronal study. Sunday - Explosive events study.
UVCS: Nominal. Coronal hole observations in the north and synoptics.
LASCO: Nominal. High cadence observations (C3 every 15 minutes with C2
images in between) through the weekend, then returning to JOP139
observing mode on Monday.
EIT: Nominal. Not observing on weekend - bakeout continuing until Monday.
MDI: Nominal. Cropped full disk magnetograms and dopplergrams in
best focus for continuous contact. Today MDI will test its full
disk/high res doppler campaign in preparation for Monday's campaign.
TRACE: Nominal. Today through the weekend - Full disk mosaics and
observations of AR 9445. Saturday - TRACE might move to the
new active region in the east for the active region study.
