ANNOUNCEMENTS

* We are now using the new router interface - please inform Paul
Doupont if you see any problems.
* Friday 2 November, the X-panel heaters change will begin, to
continue for the next several weeks, according to the time
table below.
TimeTags for time-tagged commands for switching down the
heaters TS2,3,4 which are now at 70, 50 and 70% (TS2 and
3 are switched in steps of 10% and TS4 in steps of 20%).
The times are chosen not to interfere with VIRGO time-tagged
commands (they are 1,2,3,4,5,6,5,4,3,2,1,2,3,4,5,4 hours
before the last PMOA open command for a given day). The
times are in the format needed for time-tagged commands.

INSTRUMENT STATUS

CDS: Nominal. Today: Particle beam on AR9682, lubrication study, polarity
reversal study in the south. Tomorrow: Off-limb line studies and
blinker study in north polar coronal hole.
UVCS: Nominal. UVCS/Ulysses quadrature observations and mini-synoptic,
tomorrow more quadrature observations and long synoptic.
LASCO: Nominal. C2 and C3 synoptics.
EIT: Nominal. 195 Angstrom CME watch and synoptics. Planning a
bakeout over the weekend (beginning Friday night).
MDI: Nominal. Full disk magnetograms and dopplergrams.
TRACE: Nominal. Observing AR 9682.
