ANNOUNCEMENTS

* SPWG today at 2pm in the EAF
* There will be intermittent CNE network accessibility between 0700
and 1600 local time this Saturday. This may affect you if you use
the Goddard dial up lines to get into the EOF/EAF.
* Due to overheating problems in Building 26, SDAC machines may be
shut down at times if the weather is warm. This problem will continue
as long as the chilled water supply is not available due to construction work.
* We have 2002 government calendars in the SOC office

INSTRUMENT STATUS

CDS: Nominal. Blinkers in the north coronal hole study. The usual
weekend studies will be run over the weekend.
UVCS: Nominal. Coronal hole observations and synoptic through
Saturday. Sunday UVCS will do HeI focusing cone observations.
LASCO: Nominal. C2/C3 synoptics.
EIT: Nominal. 195 Angstrom CME watch and synoptics.
MDI: Nominal. Switching from the high res field to full disk later
today. Full disk magnetogram and dopplergram program
through the weekend.
TRACE: Nominal. Observing AR9715.
