SOHO Daily Meeting Minutes for Wednesday, 27 March 2002 ANNOUNCEMENTS ------------- * HESSI target for today is AR 9878, tomorrow's target is AR 9878 * Nice CDS observations of a C flare yesterday (see SOLAR STATUS section) * PMI contractors are scheduled to perform preventive maintenance on the 3UPS-20 on March 29 from 9:00 am until 4:30 pm. The UPS unit will be in bypass and the load will be on commercial power during this activity. No impact to operations is expected. 3UPS-20 supports SOHO, W/P, and XTE missions. * Visitors will come to the EOF on Tuesday 2 April at 11am. FOT REPORT ---------- Spacecraft Status: Nominal SUMER OFF Spacecraft Anomalies: None Accomplished Activities: VIRGO, RSL Planned Activities: VIRGO, New tracking star (7.1 mag) Upcoming Operations: None Ground Anomalies: 085/1515 - Late AOS; D27 antenna reset (9 mins, D66 covered) SOLAR STATUS ------------ 03/26 DOY 085 - 03/27 DOY 086 EIT daily On-Line Solar Status and observations: http://umbra.nascom.nasa.gov/eit/plan/log_form20020327.html LASCO daily On-Line Solar Status and observations: http://lasco-www.nrl.navy.mil/observations/2001/Todays_obs.html Web Page for Planning: http://www.bbso.njit.edu/arm Nice flare observations from CDS (will be made into a Hot Shot eventually): http://orpheus.nascom.nasa.gov/~thompson/planning/s24475_scaled.html http://orpheus.nascom.nasa.gov/~thompson/planning/s24475.html The first one has all frames scaled to the max intensity in each line, the second one is scaled to the maximum in each frame and line. Unfortunately, the impulsive phase of the flare was during RHESSI night. INSTRUMENT STATUS ----------------- CDS: Nominal.
