SOHO Daily Meeting Minutes for Thursday, 28 March 2002
ANNOUNCEMENTS

* HESSI target for today is AR 9878, tomorrow's target is AR 9880
* There will be maintenance work done on sohoftp.nascom.nasa.gov
starting tomorrow morning, March 29. Very likely, this will
produce some service outages. It is expected to be back to
normal before Monday morning, April 1.
* PMI contractors are scheduled to perform preventive maintenance
on the 3UPS-20 on March 29 from 9:00 am until 4:30 pm. The UPS
unit will be in bypass and the load will be on commercial power
during this activity. No impact to operations is expected. 3UPS-20
supports SOHO, W/P, and XTE missions.
* Visitors will come to the EOF on Tuesday 2 April at 11am.
* Commanding times for next week:
Monday - Command after 19 UT on D27. D/L only before that.
Tuesday - Command on D66 until 17:30 then on D27.
Wedesday - Command on D66 until 17:30 then on D27.
Thursday - Command on D27 all day.
Friday - Commanding is good all day.
Saturday - Command on D27 all day.
Sunday - Command on D66 until 17:30 then on D27.

INSTRUMENT STATUS

CDS: Nominal. Sunspot oscillations study on AR9878, polarity
reversal monitoring in the north pole, engineering. Tomorrow:
active region studies all day.
UVCS: Nominal. 24-hour synoptic. Tomorrow: coronal hole/streamer
interface study and mini-synoptic.
LASCO: Nominal. C2/C3 synoptics.
EIT: Nominal. 195 Angstrom CME watch and synoptics. Bakeout begins
at 13 UT Friday.
MDI: Nominal. Full disk magnetograms and dopplergrams for continuous
contact.
TRACE: Nominal. Tracking AR9878.
