SOHO Daily Meeting Minutes for Wednesday 21 May 2003 ANNOUNCEMENTS ------------- * HGA Anomaly/possible maneuver update: Plans for a potential maneuver are still being worked out. To ensure we are not rushed by scheduling constraints, we are looking into options in early June as well. May 30 is being kept as an option for now, but NO EARLIER DATES ARE BEING CONSIDERED AT THIS TIME. An offpoint is very likely - and it could be combined with a roll. Note that an offpoint would be limited to 2 degrees (not 3 as mentioned earlier), due to an on-board software limit. The offpoint would be East-West, most likely in both positive and negative directions. If the offpoints are combined with rolls, the rolls would be starting at the offpointed positions. To answer a common question: We don't foresee any impact to the June 11 stationkeeping/momentum management maneuver. * Current RHESSI default target is AR10362. When selecting this target to maximize coordination w/others, use campaign number 6850. * SPWG on Friday in the EOF after the Daily & Weekly meetings * Please note that Bldg. 3 primary and alternate emergency evacuation maps have been posted on the bulletin board inside the EOF doorway. Please take time to study them and the new Emergency Action Plan that was distributed to teams in email. * GODDARD MOVES TO CODE ORANGE: Starting tomorrow, May 22, on weekdays from 6am to 6pm GSFC visitors go to the Visitors Center for processing. Outside those hours and on weekends and holidays (such as Memorial Day) they should check in as usual at the front gate Bldg. 9. In regard to the detector life-time, the idea of the intercal should be abandoned until better target comes into view. Thank you if staff can be at EOF. 2) In case of roll maneuvre during the week-end, what are plans for MDI observations ?
