SOHO Daily Meeting Minutes for Tuesday 16 December 2003 ANNOUNCEMENTS ------------- * KEYHOLE CONTACT SHORTLIST: If you are planning on doing remote health checks of your instrument during the keyhole, please inform the SOCs. We'd like to give the FOT a shortlist of people who may be calling in to have e.g. contingency scripts executed in case of problems. This will speed up the process of verifying that the caller is authorized to ask for such actions. Also, verify that your emergency contact list is up-to-date and is taking vacation plans into account. * On Thursday, a test of going from the Tape Recorder to the SSR with minimal interruption will be performed in preparation for the winter keyhole. The time and duration of the test is TBD; expected impacts are no NRT and no MDI high rate while the spacecraft is in record. * The current RHESSI default target is AR10520. When selecting this target to maximize coordination w/others, use campaign number 6850. * Wednesday and Thursday, December 17-18 at 17-23 UT (Noon-6pm EST), maintenance will be performed on the Open IONET. This could have an intermittent effect on communications to and from our network. * Science seminar at 3:30pm on Wednesday 17 December in the EAF by Hong Xie on "Cone Model for Halo CMEs: Application to Space Weather Forecasting" * SPWG on Friday in the EOF after the Daily and Weekly meetings * SDO Holiday party at the Rec Center on 23 December from 12-7pm. Bring a dish. See the SOC for more details.
