Ground Anomalies:
227/1154 EOF real-time session terminated, resulting in
a 10 minute outage of TLM being forwarded to the EOF.
Data recoverable from DPS.
227/1900 Unable to receive monitor data from D16 for 7 hours
20 minutes due to a LMC failure at the site.
227/1937 LMC and SCP failures resulted in TLM outages from
1937-1940 and 1941-1943 (total of 4 minutes 37 seconds),
2118-2137 (18 minutes 43 seconds), and 2213-2216
(2 minutes 48 seconds). Lost data is partially
recoverable from the CDR. Lost CMD ability for 1
hour 52 minutes. D46 brought up early for support in
place of D16.
227/2236 Lost uplink to RCVR 2 due to over-modulation by the
exciter at D16. Unable to command for 32 minutes.
227/2332 Lost uplink to RCVR 2 due to an transmitter failure
at D46. Unable to command for 7 minutes.

INSTRUMENT STATUS

CDS: Nominal. Extended effects of flares study, Major Flare Watch,
Oslo AR study on AR0061 and particle beam study on AR0069.
Saturday - extended effects of flares study and Major Flare
Watch. Sunday - Flare Build-Up and Energy Release in AR's study.
UVCS: Nominal. JOP159 finishes today, then UVCS will do a CME watch
at about 309 degrees. Weekend - Coronal hole observations in
the southwest and 14-hour synoptic.
LASCO: Nominal. C2/C3 synoptics, supporting extended effects of flares
study, JOP159, supporting Major Flare Watch.
EIT: Nominal. 195 CME watch and synoptic, supporting extended effects
of flares study, supporting Major Flare Watch.
MDI: Nominal. Full disk magnetograms and dopplergrams, supporting
Major Flare Watch.
TRACE: Nominal. Observing AR0069 for the Major Flare Watch and extended
effects of flares study. Flare observations will continue on
AR 0069 all weekend.
