Instrument monitoring studies, south coronal hole observations with UVCS. Saturday: AR diagnostics, off-limb spectral study in the north. Sunday: off-limb spectral study in the south, CME onset watch. UVCS: Nominal. South coronal hole observations with CDS and synoptics. Weekend: south coronal hole observations and synoptics. LASCO: Nominal. C2 and C3 will both be at a 10-minute cadence, alternating (6 each/hour) in support of IPS. LASCO will keep the orange daily pBs and orange/blue fielding images during this high cadence run. LASCO's high cadence run will end early Saturday. EIT: Nominal. Bakeout ended at 8 UT and post-bakeout cals are planned for tonight. The first synoptic set is expected early Saturday. MDI: Nominal. Full disk magnetograms and dopplergrams. TRACE: Nominal.
