SOHO Daily Meeting Minutes for Monday 20 June 2005 ANNOUNCEMENTS ------------- * We will be performing a live test with New Norcia on June 27, starting with data flow tests about one hour before beginning of track which occurs about 04:24 UT - i.e. from Sunday this week to Monday next week. The test period goes until 10UT, but visibility disappears earlier than that. This track is the combination of an original request to fill a continuous gap and an internal ESA/New Norcia engineering test (for SOHO). In addition, it will function as a live test of the SOHO SLE software. With the delayed start of the continuous, we will not rely on getting the data for this test (i.e. we expect to be in record all the time, but we expect to perform an end-to-end (New Norcia to IWS) data flow test while we are NOT in contact with a DSN station. When DSN contact starts at 06:40 we will be back to the normal data flow configuration for the operational systems, while the SLE test facility will still be configured against New Norcia. Given the successful SLE data flow test recently, there is no reason to believe that the SLE software introduces spurious effects on the ECS or IWS software systems, so we assume a normal ECS telemetry distribution configuration will be in place for the data flow test. However, if you want your workstations NOT to receive data from New Norcia during the test, please tell the SOCs by Wednesday. Keep in mind, though, that at some point we will have to have real, live tests with the SLE system on DSN stations - better to discover problems eary! * Today around 10am local time, EIT data and movie nfs mountpoints will be unavailable due to maintenance. * The current RHESSI default target is AR10779. When selecting this target to maximize coordination w/others, use campaign number 6850. * 34m keyhole ends today, transponder swap at ~18 UT.
